Leeza Gibbons' Dare2Care "Find Your Funny"

More than an evening of fundraising, Dare2Care is a challenge to the community to spread kindness and hope with this year’s theme “Find our Funny”. We’ve all heard “laughter is the best medicine”. That’s because humor is a powerful tool that can help us cope with stress and build resilience. And let’s face it, we could all use a resource like this in these uncertain times.

No one has been hit harder during the pandemic than family caregivers. Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or other chronic illness is a fulltime and unpaid job. Now more than ever, these families need hope and relief from pandemic challenges like reduced support systems, isolation and exhaustion.

Leeza’s Care Connection is a lifeline for these families. Since the pandemic, we’ve expanded our services to reach those who need it most. We now offer 14 monthly online support groups, weekly care focused webinars, online discussions and daily phone support for family consultations. But we need your help to continue fulfilling the growing need for our services. Proceeds from this event will do just that. Can we count on you to help us reach these families in need?

On November 19, Leeza’s Care Connection will host the Leeza Gibbons’ Dare2Care Virtual Event. This year’s event will be streamed live on Facebook, YouTube, and is expected to reach thousands. Don’t miss the laugh out loud comedy segments featuring our sponsors and community!
