USDA Releases New REAP Guidance

Great news from the USDA! Rural businesses and agriculture producers may be eligible to obtain grant funds for energy-efficiency improvements or renewable-energy systems through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) offered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development office. The USDA has released a new fact sheet about the program that answers many common questions about the grant program and eligibility. The fact sheet can be accessed online. Those interested are invited to visit the website to use the online mapping tool feature to determine if their project site is located in a qualifying rural area.
