Electronics Recycling and Paper Shred Event

On Saturday, March 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Lexington County Solid Waste Management, in partnership with the Town of Batesburg-Leesville, will host an electronic recycling and paper shred at Southern Tool Works (the old Piggly Wiggly), located at 438 W. Railroad Avenue, in Batesburg-Leesville. The list of acceptable items includes computers and accessories, TVs, stereos, household electronics (including VCRs and DVD players), radios and fax machines. Other items include printers, phones, gaming systems, stereo equipment and much more. As a note, this event is for Lexington County residents only. No refrigerators or commercial waste please.
