Saluda Shoals Hosts Summer's End Solar Run 5K

Attention all runners! Saluda Shoals Park will host its Summer’s End Solar Run on Sunday, August 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. Organized as a fun and exciting precursor to the historic solar eclipse taking place the following day, the event highlight will be a scheduled 5K through beautiful Saluda Shoals Park. Other featured activities will include delicious local food, craft beers and live music. All ages welcome (note: ID required for alcoholic purchases).

Proceeds generated will go to benefit the Saluda Shoals Foundation—a nonprofit organization that serves to support Saluda Shoals Park through financial support, fostering partnerships and awareness, and by supporting the park’s educational and environmental programs, including recreational activities.
