PalmettoPride Hosts 2018 Litter Art Contest

PalmettoPride has kicked off its 2018 Litter Trashes Everyone Art Contest. The annual art contest is now open for teachers to sign up their respective elementary classes to participate in this fun and educational competition. The winning artwork will become the design for PalmettoPride’s new T-shirt. The contest is open to all S.C. students from kindergarten through fifth grade.

The art contest is an opportunity for students to learn about their environment and showcase their artistic talents. PalmettoPride has put together a unique program with everything a teacher needs to bring this program to their school or classroom, including drawing paper, litter facts and return envelopes to submit the student entries. One entry per school will be accepted. State and regional prizes available, including cash prizes for the state winner and their school, as well as having the winner’s design on the volunteer T-shirts for the year. All entries must be postmarked by Friday, February 16, for consideration.
