ICRC Hosts Its July Fourth Symphonic Salute

On Friday, July 3, from 7 to 9 p.m., the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission will celebrate Independence Day with a patriotic concert featuring a brass quintet made of members of the S.C. Philharmonic at Saluda Shoals Park, located at 5605 Bush River Road, in Columbia. Midlands area residents of all ages are invited to bring a picnic blanket, chair, family members and friends for a special musical salute to patriotism. Delicious food will be provided by Dupre's Catering. In addition, beverages, beer and wine will be available for purchase. Music will begin at 8 p.m.
