About the Midlands Green Business Program

The Midlands Green Business Program is a partnership between the city of Columbia, Lexington County, Richland County and Keep the Midlands Beautiful. The program is designed to recognize businesses that adopt sustainable and eco-friendly business practices, thus helping to keep the local community cleaner and greener—making it a more beautiful place to live. 

The Midlands Green Business program is a wonderful way to help protect the environment, showcase organizational and corporate social responsibility, potentially lower operating costs, and take advantage of tax breaks and financial incentives.

Membership benefits include access to sustainable mentors, Green Business workshops, networking events, and Green Business promotional opportunities. Members also receive a listing and link on the Midlands Green Business website and a membership seal to proudly display.
