August Recycling Event

On Saturday, August 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Lexington Recycling Division is hosting a recycling drop-off event in the parking lot of Batesburg-Leesville High School, located at 600 Summerland Avenue, in Batesburg-Leesville. A free event co-sponsored by the county of Lexington and Keep the Midlands Beautiful, the list of acceptable items includes electronics (up to eight electronics—small items and computer components are bundled to count as “one”); paper—shredded on-site (up to five boxes/bags of paper); household goods (no limit); tires (up to eight per household); and much more.
