Fifteen years is a beautiful milestone. While it marks a major chapter for Garner’s Natural Life in Columbia, it represents just one part of a story deeply rooted in family, health and community service.

The Garner family’s journey in natural health began long before the Columbia location opened its doors. In the 1980s, the first Midlands store was established at Dutch Square. Robin Garner, a passionate advocate for holistic wellness, opened the store after years of living and sharing his commitment to natural living. Prior to that, he was known for baking bread and delivering it from his VW van—living his values long before natural health became mainstream. Today, it is a joy to welcome customers that recall shopping with the family during those early days.

The journey continued in Greenville with the opening of a new location on Pleasantburg Drive. Following Robin’s passing, his wife Candace, who had worked alongside him, stepped into leadership and brought a thoughtful new vision to the business. She transformed the space into a peaceful and inviting store, while focusing on offering high-quality supplements and wellness products. Her leadership contributed to the brand’s growth across South Carolina.

Garner’s Natural Life has proudly served the Columbia community since 2010 from its location in Trenholm Plaza. Today, the family-owned business operates four locations across the state: two in Greenville, one in Lexington, and one in Columbia.
