Jul 29, 2025 08:51PM ● By Matthew Davis

Comedian Nate Bargatze will bring his Big Dumb Eyes World Tour to the Colonial Life Arena, in Columbia, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 14. Known for his clean-cut, relatable humor and signature deadpan delivery, Bargatze has been called “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up” by The Atlantic.

The Nashville native and host of the Nateland podcast gained national attention through appearances on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Fallon’s Clean Cut Comedy Tour in 2013, three years after being named “New York’s Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival.

Bargatze has since sold out arenas across the country, both solo and alongside icons like Chris Rock. His 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, earned a Grammy nomination, and his 2023 Amazon Prime special, Hello World, became the platform’s most-streamed original comedy debut, drawing 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days.

Location: 801 Lincoln St., Columbia. For more information, including ticket prices, or to purchase tickets, visit ColonialLifeArena.com/events/detail/nate-bargatze.
