Center for American Civic Leadership and Public Discourse Launch Event

The Center for American Civic Leadership and Public Discourse will hold its official launch event on Tuesday, January 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., featuring a talk by Rabbi Soloveichik titled “George Washington’s Jewish Letters and the Creation of a Constitutional Republic.” The free event will take place at the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, Karen J. Williams Courtroom.

Soloveichik is recognized as one of the world’s leading Jewish scholars and educators and one of the most influential religious figures in America. He will discuss religious liberty at the nation’s founding and the meaning of America as a place of religious freedom for the Jewish people.
