Explore Resilience and Nature in Action at BullStreet District
The South Carolina Office of Resilience, Nature at Work, the South Carolina Healthy Business Coalition and SC7 will host Nature at Work Trail Talks: Resilience in Action on Monday, July 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Columbia’s BullStreet District.
The free program will begin at the South Carolina Office of Resilience in the historic Mills Building with an overview of Nature at Work, a Resilience 101 session and a discussion on the role of nature in building healthier communities.
Participants will then move to nearby Page Ellington Park for a guided outdoor experience highlighting green infrastructure and nature-based resilience strategies in practice.
The Trail Talks experience will bring together SC7 participants, community leaders, planners and others interested in the connection between nature, resilience, health and place.
Following the program, attendees are invited to continue the conversation informally at Gather Cola or elsewhere in the BullStreet District.
