Catch American Idol Finalist Slater Nalley Live

Steel Hands Brewing, in Cayce, will present Nashville Nights featuring American Idol finalist Slater Nalley on Friday, July 10, at 6 p.m.

Nalley, an Atlanta native and Top 5 finalist on season 23 of American Idol, began developing his musical talents at a young age, teaching himself guitar through online tutorials and playing piano by ear. Known for his soulful, gravel-tinged sound, he draws inspiration from artists including Jason Isbell, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson and John Prine.

His original songwriting gained national attention through social media, including the song Traces of You, written after a personal tragedy within his community and later performed during his American Idol audition.

Backed by multi-platinum songwriter Dallas Davidson’s Play It Again Music and recently signed to Warner Records/Warner Music Nashville, Slater is primed to introduce more of his original music to the world soon.

In the event of inclement weather, the show will be moved indoors to the Steel Shed Building.
