See Columbia Through a Photographer’s Lens

The Columbia Museum of Art will offer a photographic tour of Columbia through the lens of Richard Samuel Roberts on Thursday, September 10, from 6 to 7 p.m. Led by docent Heather Preston, the Focal Points gallery talk will explore Roberts’ work and perspective on the city. Although Roberts is considered one of South Carolina’s most important photographers, he was largely forgotten for decades after his death.

Focal Points is a series of gallery talks exploring topics and themes of particular interest to museum docents and staff.
